Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2024

At Sunshine Retreats, we know that life happens and plans sometimes shift. Because each retreat is thoughtfully planned with love and care—including reserving accommodations, meals, and experiences well in advance—we’ve created the following cancellation policy to help honor the energy and commitments made on both sides. We kindly ask that you review it before booking.

If You Need to Cancel Your Spot

  • More than 90 days before the retreat start date:
    You may cancel for a full refund minus a $500 non-refundable deposit, or transfer 100% of your payment (including the deposit) to a future retreat within 12 months.

  • 61–90 days before the retreat:
    50% refund of the total retreat cost, or transfer 75% of your payment to a future retreat within 12 months.

  • 31–60 days before the retreat:
    No refund is available, but you may transfer 50% of your payment to a future retreat or transfer your spot in full to another participant (pending approval).

  • 30 days or less before the retreat:
    Due to committed costs, no refunds or transfers will be offered.

  • We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation protection.

Retreat Cancellations by Sunshine Retreats

If we are forced to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, illness, or failure to meet the minimum number of participants), you will receive a 100% refund or the option to transfer your full payment to a future retreat.

We are not responsible for travel costs, airfare, or any expenses incurred outside of your retreat booking.

Payment Plans

If you are enrolled in a payment plan and choose to cancel, the above policies apply to the amount paid to date. Future scheduled payments will be canceled once cancellation is confirmed.

How to Cancel

Email sheila@sunshineretreats.org with your name, retreat date, and reason for cancellation. Refunds (when applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days to your original method of payment.
